I got this book to review from the author. It was written for 2nd to 4th graders. The illustrations are amazing and make me miss picture books. This was a quick read for me but that is because I am considerably older than the age group.
Paula is in third grade. For the science project she is assigned to deciduous trees(the trees that lose their leaves in the fall). She starts on her project at the very last minute. Her rival Cynthia has already turned it in and it is beautiful. Paula makes a startling realization about Cynthia. Could they become friends?
I actually liked this book I think it would be a good book for kids to read. My little sister is about the same age as the intended age group, but sadly she doesn't like to read and would not give me an opinion.
Thank you to Anne Emerick for giving me this book to review I really enjoyed it.
